The Nursery
The Nursery currently welcomes 210 children between the ages of two and six, coming from the outskirts of Barbacena. It is located on top of a hill near the agricultural area. The building that houses the Nursery includes: the administrative offices, the dining hall, classrooms, dormitory, playroom, a small theater, and restrooms. Its construction—and the very act of welcoming the children—was made possible thanks to the solidarity campaign launched at Christmas 2008, which is still ongoing.
Our Goals
Each child at the Nursery is welcomed with love and respect. Our mission goes far beyond daily care: we provide a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment where children in difficult situations can grow up peacefully and discover their self-worth.
Our Programs
Activities that Nourish Body, Mind, and Heart. The daily activities are designed to support the overall development of the child, with special care for those coming from challenging family backgrounds.
