Janio
I started my experience at “Saint Michael the Archangel” in 1999 when I was 5 years old. Life hasn’t been easy. Our income was almost zero and my mother and father were alcoholics. We children were left alone every day. One day my mother left home leaving me and my sister. He left us with my father to take care of us. However, my father couldn’t look after us and work so he decided to put my sister in boarding school and took me to “Saint Michael the Archangel” where I was welcomed with love.
Already the day I arrived I felt at home because everyone took action to take care of me, I remember that on the first day I met Marco Roberto, founder of the work of “Saint Michael the Archangel”. There was a photo taped to the wall with the image of Jesus Christ, and I asked him if it was his photo. He welcomed me and smilingly told me who Jesus Christ was, from that moment I was growing and learning many incredible things such as the musical workshop and craftsmanship and so, day after day, my life, which was marked by suffering, little by little he was filled with love.
I had a great teacher who taught me to value the little things and who taught us the human values that I now carry with me wherever I go. In 2010 it was my turn to say goodbye to the mission to start as a junior apprentice in a company where I was hired. I continued my studies and realized that I was a responsible man and that I was ready to face the world. Years later I returned to “Saint Michael the Archangel” to work as an educator and I had the opportunity to change the lives of other children.
Then fate took me to other places and today I work in large chicken refrigeration, I got married and I have a 4 year old son called David Luiz. I am very happy with everything that has happened in my life and today I see that it happened with the help of God. Today I carry in my heart a big family where I had several brothers, several fathers, several mothers. It was my base, my big family. Saint Michael the Archangel, thank you for everything and thanks in particular to Marco Roberto Bertoli.
