Massimo
Thanks to Milena (Marco Roberto’s mother) who made herself available to accompany me to “Saint Michael the Archangel”, I managed to realize a dream I had had for a long time which was to visit a mission. I needed to get rid of the doubts that I had been carrying inside me for a long time. First of all, if I were able to personally face the vision of misery and so much poverty that exists in the world to try to give my little personal help and to understand if the little I donated was really going to a good end given that in the past I had of negative experiences.
As soon as I entered “Saint Michael the Archangel” and got off the bus I couldn’t believe my eyes for all those children, they all hugged me and gave me lots of kisses, and that’s where the first tear came from my eyes and not even the last one because there every day is full of emotions. Then Marco Roberto accompanied me to visit and explained the various functions of “Saint Michael the Archangel” and from that moment I only have to compliment him on that little paradise he created and for what he manages to do and give daily to those children to make them peaceful and loved. .
Marco was very busy but managed, I don’t know how, to dedicate part of his precious time to me to make me understand the different problems of Brazil, from environmental degradation to the abandonment of children (there are so many and different) and to explain his future plans. At that point the doubts I had were eliminated but the desire to be part of those projects that have the sole purpose of making children feel good grew and still grows. I could tell you every minute I lived at “Saint Michael the Archangel” because it was an unforgettable experience and the only thing I feel like saying to Marco Roberto and all the children of Sao Miguel Arcanjo is: OBRIGADO OBRIGADO OBRIGADO – Massimo Lorenzetti
