The nursery currently welcomes 40 children aged four to six, coming from the outskirts of Barbacena and it has been built on top of a hill near the agricultural area.

The structure that houses the nursery includes: the administrative sector, the dining room, the classrooms, the dormitory, the playroom, a small theater, and the restrooms.

Its construction and the welcome of the children have been made possible thanks to the solidarity campaign launched at Christmas 2008 and still open.
