My life took an unexpected turn when I fell ill and my grandmother took me to the hospital for a checkup. The doctors informed me that I would need to stay for an extended period, resulting in my hospitalization. I underwent surgery, but my condition worsened, and my case became critical.

The doctor then inquired, “Would you like to transfer to another hospital in Belo Horizonte?” Initially, I refused, fearing being away from my family. However, they eventually persuaded me that it would be in my best interest to accept, and I reluctantly agreed.

Before departing for the hospital, Marco Roberto and Marlon visited me. They embraced me, we engaged in heartfelt conversations, and their love and affection filled me with comfort. I left for Belo Horizonte, but upon arrival, I thought to myself, “I’ll never return home.” I underwent two surgeries, and the second one was successful. Thanks to God and our faith, my condition improved. My classmates were a source of strength, praying for me daily, demonstrating their love and care.

I returned home overjoyed, finally reuniting with my friends whom I had missed dearly! Upon my return to class, they welcomed me with hugs and kisses, sharing my happiness. I am now in excellent health, all thanks to God. – Thayenne Lara Aparecida Almeida
